fig + kindle is the sweet incarnation of New England’s rough landscape and unapologetic culture. We espouse a view of candy making that puts sustainability before aesthetics, that puts local before exotic, and that puts the wonky and uneven before the precisely manufactured. Our inspiration comes from rough-hewn stone walls, cottage gardens fragrant with rosemary, and wood smoke filled winds tempered by hot coffee.
fig + kindle specializes in the creation of custom sweets and other pastries as well as glass brittles, marshmallows, and baked goods which can be purchased online. Our sweets are 100% handmade, local and organic whenever possible, and always free of GMO’s, corn syrup, preservatives, and artificial colors and flavors.
